RETURNING TO THE FAITH OF YESHUA/JESUS THROUGH THE STUDY OF THE ORIGINS OF PAGAN AND CHRISTIAN BELIEFS AND THEIR CORRUPTED RELIGIOUS WRITINGS & BIBLES

Welcome to Bet Emet Ministries and the recovering of the truth concerning the faith of Jesus/Yeshua. That may sound odd to you but in "recovering the faith of Jesus/Yeshua" one thing is certain; namely, we don't have it as Christians and followers of this "Jewish Christ" called "Jesus" in our New Testaments. But of course that is most likely news to you...but hang on. There is something we need to know before we begin.

Disclaimer: It is important for the reader to understand that in this website, in comparing first century Judaism and the "pattern of worship" given to the "non-Jew" by God as well as unveiling of the historical truths concerning the non-Jewish "believer" in the first century against the later alterations and changes made to this "pattern of worship" by the emerging Roman Gentile Church of Rome in the 3rd century I will use a "literal-historical" approach to the "Jesus Story". If you have studied and ran across some of our other websites then you know that "the Christ" can be interpreted from 3 different perspectives down through recorded history: "mystical", "mythological", and "literal-historical". Only after one has spent a considerable time in dedicated and scholarly studies in such areas as Biblical Judaism, the Jewish Messiah and true Messianic prophecy as taken from the Hebrew Scriptures and not the later forged texts of Rome, comparative manuscript evidences, the history and origin of the Roman New Testament, the true origin and creation of the New Testament , the Gnostic Paul vs the falsified Roman Paul, the Essenes and their "literal godman", Ancient Wisdom literature, Jewish and Gentile Gnosticism, Egyptian religion and the ancient "Jesus Story" that beings with Ancient Egypt, Comparative religions, Astronomy and Astrotheology can he understand and be certain which two of the above three methods of interpretation of "the Christ" are accurate and factual. Again for purposes of comparing Judaism's truths vs Christianity's alterations of it over the early centuries and the implications that this holds for the "non-Jew" and "Godfearer" today then we adopt in this website and for all studies in this website a supposed "literal-historical" interpretation of "the Christ" as well as the Jesus of the New Testament. Only in so doing can we adequately contrast the truths of Judaism vs Christian theology and by so doing follow the lineage of these "Divine Truths" back down the corridors of history to the earliest Divine revelations given to mankind by the Creator which were intended for both "Gentiles" and "Jews" as well. You will, in time, come to see that there is a "Pattern" to the worship of God given all mankind in the beginning of recorded history of the race and this "pattern" can be traced throughout recordd history and will culminate with Biblical Judaism and will subsequently be destroyed in the 3rd century by the emerging antisemitic Roman Church. I will let you be the judge of the results of such studies and leave to the reader to draw the necessary conclusions as we attempt to compare Jewish and Christian theological perspectives all the while dealing with the "New Testament Jesus" in a "literal-historical" manner in order for such an accurate comparison to be done effectively. I learned a long time ago that what you don't know can hurt you! You already know Christmas trees and Easter eggs were originally Pagan, and you probably know the traditional mid-winter and spring timing of the two holidays was Pagan too. This is but mildly interesting to most until they begin to look beyond such superficialities where one come to the stark realization that Gentile Christianity inherited everything from the Pagans. The core of Christianity -- the worship of a dying God who is resurrected, ascends into heaven and brings salvation to mankind - was also the core of a number of ancient Pagan religions that began in the Near East two thousand years before Jesus. Christianity's theology borrowed more than the archaic myth of the dying-resurrected G-dman. Initiation by baptism, communion with the God through a holy meal that represented the flesh of the dead God, a false atonement through this astral-man, , etc., were all core beliefs of many ancient faiths. They were simply part of ancient Mediterranean culture. This is bad enough but when these pagan ideas were later incorporated into the Greek translation of the Hebrew Scriptures and later elaborated upon by the Gentile sun-worshippers of Rome then extrication from such lies and falsehoods is almost impossible unless one embarks upon serious study in the fields of comparative religion and religious origins of world religions and it's impact upon the great religious synthesis known in Gentile Christianity today.

Christianity also borrowed elements of both Solar Mythology and Nature worship and applied it to a Jewish Rabbi named Yeshua as you will see in the studies to come. Many of the stories connected with the Jesus of the New Testament were all common elements of pre-Christian Pagan religions. Mithras had these religious concepts. So did Dionysus, Attis, Osiris, Orpheus, and a host of others as you will come to see. And they had them centuries before Christianity was thought up and created by a Gentile convert named Saint Paul. More on him later.

Sound impossible?

Look at the picture below. It's an ancient amulet. Christ the Son of God sacrificed on the cross, right? Look closely, read the words: "Orpheus-Bakkoks." You're looking at an ancient Pagan talisman representing the Pagan God Dionysus (Bacchus) dying by crucifixion to be reborn and ascend into heaven. Does that sound familiar to you?

Answer for yourself: Is this just coincidence, plagiarism of paganism, or prophetic of the Jesus to come? Right now you don't possess the knowledge to answer this question but you will in time if you are diligent to read and study this website and the information that it presents. The early Christians when confronted with their plagiarism of paganism had a problem on their hands. Listen to Christian apologist Justin Martyr, writing to a Pagan in the second century AD, "When we say that the Word, who is the first-birth of God, was produced without sexual union, and that He, Jesus Christ, our Teacher, was crucified and died, and rose again, and ascended into heaven, we propound nothing different from what you believe regarding those whom you esteem sons of Jupiter." [First Apology, 21]. Such honesty is rarely found today in Christianity but your unfamiliarity with the early Church Fathers and some of their quotes when confronted with their plagiarism has hidden the truth from many today simply because we fail to study and learn the true origins of the faith we trust for Eternal Life.

How this Pagan-Christian thing happened is an amazing story, not often told because it is unknown by many. History is written by the victors and these Romans doctored religious documents to maintain the religious status quo; the only difference is that prior religious concepts connected with Astro-theology, Nature worship, and Phallic worship are now applied to another in a long line of pagan g-ds and g-dmen. Before we have have such personifications of the Sun and Heavens and Nature applied to legends such as Osiris, Mithras, Attis, Dionysus, Hercules, Krishna; finally now it is applied to a Jewish Rabbi that taught repentance in Palestine chiefly because Biblical Judaism was a world religion in competition with the paganism of Rome. In order to stop Gentiles from turning away from paganism Rome had a unique idea...create a religious synthesis of world religions and affix it to the life of the would be Jewish Messiah. Simply said: "change nothing thereby everyone will not have to change... only modify it a little." In the first centuries AD Paganism and Christianity were in competition. The Christians won thorough the power of the State of Rome with Constantine. The history you know was written by them; wrong of course. Christian or not, you have a Christian perspective on Christianity's uniqueness - that's the only perspective you've ever heard. No matter what we believe about the truth of what's said in a Christian church Sunday morning, we see Christianity as unique religious synthesis of what came before beginning with Egypt and all other sun-worshipping nations which culminated in the same religious beliefs filtered though all Gentile nations and later affixed to a Jewish Rabbi where "church" and "state" created a juggernaut which could not be stopped. Coupled with that the forging of religious documents that are called "Divine, infallible, inerrant" then one is almost beyond hope of find the truth concerning the truth about the religious origins of Gentile Christianity.

History is written by the winners...Rome won and the Jews lost. You've never heard about the Pagan origins of Christianity because as Christians institutionalized the Church starting in the 300s AD and their reaction to Pagan competition was to deny and suppress Pagan teaching; to burn Pagan writings, to drive dissident communities into the desert, to murder Pagan scholars, etc. It worked well. So well that the word Pagan is a disparaging term. So well did Rome bury the truth that much of our modern understanding of these faiths is available only because scholars have reconstructed Pagan theology by reading between the lines of anti-Pagan Christian propaganda - the original Pagan literature having been lost in the bonfires of suppression. You know the Christian version of the history of religion because the Pagan version was suppressed.

The subject of Religious Origins is a fascinating one, as the great multitude of books upon it, published in late years, tends to show. It has been my experience that most Christians never think that there is a need for the study of the origins of their faith. However I have found as a former Christian Pastor and Seminary graduate that for the Christian such a study into the truthful origins of their faith and the resulting tamperings and purposeful mistranslation and misquotation of the Jewish Scriptures as they found their way into the Greek and later English translations of the Christian's Old Testaments and New Testaments is not optional; in fact it is mandatory. But such an understanding for the need of the examination of one's Christian faith only comes when one has undertaken some unbiased study on his own in the first place. Since Christianity is founded upon preaching and not study you can see how few come to this understanding of the necessity of examining their faith for "truth."

It needs to be said right now that if it can proven beyond any doubt that key and important passages in our Christian Old Testaments and New Testaments are flagrant and purposeful mistranslations, misquotations, and the lifting of Jewish texts out of their original context in order to make them say things completely different from what God and the original Jewish writers intended then understand that as Christians we don't have the "Authentic Word of God" but in it's place a collection of adulterated and forged texts which selected men with alternate agendas gave the Gentile world.

This website will prove to you beyond any doubt that the above statement is not only true but will provide for you the rationale for such changes along with intricate examination of multitudes of examples of such forged passages and Scriptures in both the Christian's Old Testament and New Testament. Simple comparison of passage after passage from the Christian Bibles and the pre-existing Jewish Hebrew texts from which they were supposed to be derived will prove this fact to you beyond any doubt. Then you will see for yourself that instead of Divine Revelation our Christian Bibles "in many places" have religious doctrines and dogmas both added and deleted whereby pagan Gentile religious worship involving concepts like Astro-theology, Sun worship, Nature worship, and Phallic worship were added to these Greek and Latin translations of the Jewish Scriptures over time in order to reinforce the existing Gentile religious beliefs of their day. We as Christians and followers of Jesus inherited such forged texts in our Christian Bibles never knowing that these forgeries existed and the reasons for them.

What this means to us is that we as Christians adopted and inherited many religious beliefs that were never in the Jewish Scriptures, never taught by men like Noah, Abraham, Moses, the Major and Minor Prophets, or even Jesus. This means that many of these inherited religious doctrines and beliefs that came from such alterations and falsifications of the Jewish Scriptures render the believer as an idolator and blasphemer before God when compared with these unaltered Jewish texts which condemn such religious beliefs which Western Christianity and their Bibles pass off today as "orthodoxy."

Indeed the great difficulty today in dealing with this subject, lies in the very mass of the material at hand-and that not only on account of the labor involved in sorting the material, but repeated attempts by such forgers to validate and give Divine sanction to their alterations of these Jewish texts. But all is not hopeless because the more one studies and the deeper he looks into such subjects such as the falsification of the Jewish religious texts one can find incredibly self-incrimination by such forgers of these texts as they write and record their own deceptions. The more facts, statistics, and so forth, that become available in any investigation of this sort, the easier it is to pick out and trace the evolution of primitive pagan ideas into what is accepted today as "orthodoxy" in many a Christian denomination but which can be shown to have been birth in Gentile paganism.

I will on this website to provide the necessary facts and information necessary to reveal and explain to the typical Christian how the faith he follows today in Jesus' name is little more than a syncretistic religious synthesis of prior Gentile religious doctrines and dogmas taken from astro-theology, sun-worship, vegetation and nature worship, and phallic worship.

In other words we as Christians and followers of "Jesus" and "the Christ" who think we are obeying and loving God are doing anything but that!

It is a shame that the vast majority of Christianity will have to die to find the truth and then realize too late that we lived the majority of their lives in idolatry and blasphemy and were never aware of such horrible sin done in the name Jesus. There is no greater loss to mankind than to think he worships the Father in Spirit and in Truth and then upon his death be told before the Throne of God that he practiced abominations repeatedly before God and that his worship of the Father was in vain because he unknowingly followed corrupted religious texts instead of the real ones which the Jew's as a people have always protected and not altered. We had at Bet Emet Ministries dealt with related topics on many of our other websites but in this site I will try to bring together all of the materials on these various topical sites in a simplified presentation where the falsification of these Christian texts and the rationale for their corruption will be dealt with and proven beyond any doubt.

TOPICS TO BE STUDIED AND PROVEN BEYOND ANY DOUBT IN THIS WEBSITE

We will look in depth to the Essenes and how they began these alterations of the Jewish Scriptures as they apostasized from normative Judaism for over two hundred years before the birth of Yeshua. But before we look at the various forged texts and the dynamics of these Essene changes in what would later become the Christian Bibles we need to begin to understand the rational for such changes in the first place. There were reasons for the alteration of the Jewish Bible when translated into Greek and it's later further alteration by the Greek and Latin Church Fathers. I believe it necessary that we begin our examination and search for truth by the exhaustive study of the rationale for such changes of these Jewish Scriptures and we find such rationale when we study in an unbiased manner the origins of the Christian faith. Such origins of Gentile Christianity as we know today can and will be proven and demonstrated to be a synthesis of prior Gentile religious beliefs involving:

Astro-theology and Sun Worship
Nature Worship As Connected To The Vegetation Cycle And The Seasons
Phallic Worship

Only after having come to grips with these above reasons for the altering of the Jewish Scriptures can we then progress to the fruit of such a synthesis of religious beliefs: the in-depth examination of the production of religious texts promoting such ideas in the name of God which are passed off to the unsuspecting as a Divine Revelation which sadly is anything but that!

So this website will be composed of basically several parts:

The study of the rationale for the alteration and forging of the Jewish Scriptures when translated and later copied in the Greek, Latin, and English of our Christian Old and New Testaments. This will begin with a background in Astro-theology, Nature worship, and Phallic worship.
We will after the above study begin to tackle the problem of the Essenes of Alexandria, Egypt and Palestine and their religious doctrines which will be shown to be derived from the above three areas of study. Once you see that much of what they taught was the further personification of the three above areas of study then your eyes will really be opened as you continue to see these concepts and observations in the Stars, Sun, Moon, and Nature become personified into stories that make it into the pages of your Christian Bibles.
Finally we arrive at the examination of individual texts and passages as compared first with the Jewish Scriptures from which all translations were to be derived. Beginning with these Jewish texts then we will trace the translation of them through the Greek and the English as well as all New Testament quotes and look for purposeful mistranslations, misquotations, and the taking of them out of context on purpose in order to promote religious ideas foreign to the original Jewish writer; texts when trusted and believed render the "believer" an idolator and blasphemer before God!

Such a study will be tedious and will take some time. But such study will demonstrate to the concerned believer the multiple corruptions and purposeful mistranslations of the Jewish Scriptures as found in the Christian Bibles. Once presented with the evidence it is easy to see for yourself the deception and conspiracy involved in the production of and the alteration and falsification of the Jewish Bible and other religious texts in order to promote and reinforce prior existing Gentile pagan ideas among the unlearned Gentiles of the world. In this study we will painstakingly demonstrate on a line to line and precept to precept basis the forging of and the near destruction of the Divine Revelation as contained in the Jewish Scriptures whereby these texts were purposefully altered, purposefully misquoted and mistranslated and taken repeatedly out of context first by the Essene translators in Alexandria, Egypt, whereby the end product as contained in this Greek translation of the Jewish Scriptures is little more than a combined synthesis of the above Gentile doctrines of Astro-theology, nature worship, and phallic worship. It would be these same Essenes of Alexandria, Egypt, which would later indoctrinate and train the Greek Fathers of the church and such deceptions of which I speak are only passed along as you will come to see.

Such a terrible legacy of the Essenes and their falsification of the Jewish Scriptures would be guaranteed to survive as they were responsible for teaching the Early Greek Fathers of the Church in their universities and in their libraries in Alexandria, Egypt. What made it easy is the fact that these Greek Fathers were already enmeshed in solar worship as were their Essene teachers whom like themselves were schooled likewise in Astro-theology, Nature Worship, and Phallic Worship.

Luke 6:39 39 And he spake a parable unto them, Can the blind lead the blind? shall they not both fall into the ditch? (KJV)

The sad realization of this fact will become very clear once it dawns upon you that it was from this horrible Greek Translation called the Septuagint (LXX) that all the Christian Old Testaments will derive and it goes without saying that all it's quotes (some accurate and some forged) as found in the New Testament come from such a corrupt translation. Understand not all the quotes from the Christian Bible are corrupted when compared with these Jewish Scriptures; however you will come to see that a concerted effort was made to corrupt many texts that pertained to key religious doctrines that reinforced and taught such prior religious beliefs of these Hellenized apostate Jewish Essenes pertaining to Astro-theology, Nature Worship, and Phallic Worship.

The problem is separating the meat from the bone in the Christian Bibles and without such knowledge into such areas of study it is impossible for the uninitiated Christian to do such; he is relegated to accepting the whole of his Christian Bible as a Divine Revelation and that it is not! Therefore many of his religious beliefs are foreign to the Jewish Bible which Yeshua/Jesus used and therefore his worship of God is wrong and this culminates in his idolatry and blasphemy; yet he never knows this because he never knew that his Christian Bible is not a faithful translation of these precious Jewish Scriptures. With G-d's help I hope to change this sad state of affairs because God is worthy that we love Him correctly and worship Him correctly.

WHAT DOES THIS MEAN TO ME A CHRISTIAN?

Once you read for yourself and investigate the evidences provided in this website as well as our other websites it become painfully evident that as a typical Christian you have inherited in your Christian Bible religious texts less than credible; in fact the stark reality should hit you square in the face: that you have inherited falsified religious texts that have taught you paganism as applied to a Jewish Rabbi and would be Messiah named Yeshua/Jesus. As your study progresses you will see beyond any doubt as these corrupted and forged Christian texts are revealed to you that you have been enmeshed in idolatry and blasphemy most of your Christian life and were never aware of such a terrible state because you never thought to study in an unbiased fashion the true origins of your Christian faith. It should be dawning upon you by now the consequences of such a religious synthesis and purposeful corruption of the Jewish Scriptures. As a Christian pastor and Seminary graduate who simply began the study of the Jewish Roots of the Christian faith I found over the years such information the deeper my study progressed and I present them on this website for the interested reader. The typical response of my peers when presented with such information was: "Don't rock the boat...we have a good things going on here." After a few years the stark reality I could not escape: I was an ordained minister of an apostate faith and was light years away from being a true follower of the historical Jesus let alone worshipping God in Truth. Repentance was not enough; I was forced finally to resign my Pastorate as I could no longer justify the good I was doing with the compromises I was forced to make since possessing such knowledge and information. Being ashamed was not enough; who would teach and tell the others of the terrible deceptions to which they had fallen?

Ezek 33:6 6 But if the watchman see the sword come, and blow not the trumpet, and the people be not warned; if the sword come, and take any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at the watchman's hand. (KJV)

Upon much prayer I picked up the mantel to try to warn my fellow Christian brothers and sisters who like myself loved God but never knew their Christian Bibles were corrupt and forged in key doctrinal places that ensured their idolatry and blasphemy.....the unforgivable sin.

This led to Bet Emet Ministries and our various websites that enlighten today's Christain.....if he so desires.
